March 30th, the vice president of Jinan University Jia Yimin,
along with the section chief of students department Wang Hongzhu,
the secretary of League Committee Xia Quan and other six persons
developed surveying and studying the studentĄ¯s work and held
an informal discussion.
The administrative vice rector of our college He
Jianwei, the rector assistant Duan Kaicheng, the director of
the college office Cheng Bin and the secretary of studentĄ¯s
work participated in the meeting.
On the meeting, vice president Jia passed on the
important spirit of the 16th file, required strengthening the
ideological education management to the students, quickening
the schoolĄ¯s corresponding management method, rules and regulations
and adjusting the rate of working process in order to suit the
new high school education management policy.
The administrative vice rector He Jianwei , rector
assistant Duan Kaicheng, director Cheng Bin and teacher Sun
Guang reported to the group on the studentĄ¯s work condition
of our college from various aspects, and discuss with the group
member about the scholarship, university studentĄ¯s mentality,
graduates obtaining employment and other problems.
Finally, during the summing-up, Mr. Jia approved
the successful parts in the studentĄ¯s work, particularly put
forward to praise the notable characteristic of practice teaching.
Meanwhile, he put forward the concrete requirement to the studentĄ¯s
mental health education, the studentĄ¯s work mechanism and etc.
that need to strengthen further.
The meeting promotes the communication between each
studentĄ¯s word department and our college, and will substantively
drive the further strengthening the studentĄ¯s work contact between
each college and department. It also provided our college with
the guidance opinion that how we can combine the university
characteristic and the specialty characteristic of Tourism College
in order to develop the studentĄ¯s work better.
