about the department

the english department in shenzhen tourism college is a big department with about 260 undergraduate students and 4 postgraduates. the faculty has 3 associate professors, 4 lecturers, 3 teaching assistants and 2 foreign teachers. all the teachers are master or doctorial degree holders in linguistics, literature, education, marketing, etc. most of the teachers are returned scholars from abroad (mainly britan and usa). the english department offers a wide range of courses and lectures, some of which are business-oriented.
